Finals are done for me… Finally.  Let me tell you first hand that architecture gets to be quite a handful this time of year.  So to celebrate my new freedom, I decided to mix down this month’s installment of Mixes From Space.  This is the first mix to feature my three newest tracks, Launch Sequence, Re-Entry, and Singularity.  It also includes some of my recent favorites from the worlds of  Progressive House, Electro, and Dubstep.  It’s run-time is about 67 minutes, perfect size for a CD to bump in your car.

now onto the audio modules…

MODULE 1.0// SPACE JUNK MUSIC

first up is a SPACE JUNK original production called No Error.  Since my tracks will change over time and evolve while I grow as a producer, I’m implementing a system for more accurate labeling.  The number af the end indicates the version of the song; 1.2 meaning the second version of the song without any major structural changes.  If the first number changes, i.e. 2.0, 3.0, that indicates a major remix of the song.  anyways, here is No Error.

…and now a selection from everybody’s favorite space movie…

Richard Strauss – Also Sprach Zarathustra

MODULE 2.0// Electro / House

In this section I’ve got a Wolfgang Gartner track from his new album Weekend in America, some older Afrojack, and a very long tech-house track from Simian Mobile Disco.

Wolfgang Gartner Feat. Eve – Get ‘Em

Afrojack – Bangduck (Original Mix)

Simian Mobile Disco – System

MODULE 3.0// Dubstep

Get your sin-wave on!  Large whomp… I’ve got new Porter Robinson from his Spitfire EP, lower-tempo dubstep from Ewe, and a Skrillex remix I can’t stop listening to.

Porter Robinson – Spitfire (Original Mix)

Ewe – Lingo

Sebastian – Love In Motion (Skrillex Remix)

MODULE 4.0// Other Genres

More Porter Robinson in the form of a Downlink Remix… and its at 110 bpm!  Then a spacey RJD2 track, and finally some classic hip-hop to round it off.

Porter Robinson – 100% In The Bitch (Downlink Remix)

RJD2 – A Spaceship For Now

Das EFX and Ice Cube – Check Yo Self

SPACE JUNK MUSIC FOR ROBOTS

Sorry to keep you guys waiting on a new post… Architecture school gets to be pretty intense this time of year.  Going into summer now, I plan to post much more often and hopefully throw down a bunch of new mixes and junk.  we’ll see.

Today I have assembled a group of songs sure to get your summer started off right (even if summer hasn’t quite started for you yet).  Alex Metric remixes N.E.R.D. while Savoy remixes No Doubt: both have a deep and funky techno beat and some great vocals.  Style of Eye does a downright spacey remix of the Subs. Then there’s some new Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack, and some older Mark Knight.  To finish off, Far East Movement, (remixed by DJ Enferno) Lady Gaga, (remixed by Skrillex) and Drumsound.

Set subwoofers to stun.

Hypnotize U (Alex Metric Remix) – N.E.R.D.

Hella Good (SAVOY Remix) – No Doubt

The Face Of The Planet (Style Of Eye Remix) – The Subs

Save The World (ft. John Martin) (Original Mix) – Swedish House Mafia

Where Them Girls At (Afrojack Remix) – David Guetta

Selecta (Original Mix) – Afrojack

System (Original Mix) – D. Ramirez and Mark Knight

Rocketeer (DJ Enferno Remix) – Far East Movement

Died This Way (Skrillex Remix) – Lady Gaga

Freak (Dubstep Mix) – Drumsound and Bassline
